At least 84 persons have been killed in renewed communal clashes in Taraba.
Several others were also reportedly injured in the clashes that began at the weekend.
Many houses were torched with occupants scampering to different directions in a bid to save their lives.
The crisis is reportedly between Kuteb/Fulani and Tiv ethnic groups of Takum -the home of a former Minister of Defence, Gen. Theophilus Danjuma and the Governor-elect, Darius Dickson Ishaku.
The state’s police spokesman, Joseph Kwaji, said on Monday morning that nine bodies were recovered in the Takum township attack.
